COOKIE POLICY
Last updated: 2026-05-08
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, which ones are involved when you visit ravengames.io, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website (or a service embedded inside it) stores in your browser. Cookies let sites remember things like your preferences, keep you signed in, and measure how the site is used. Some are set by the website you are visiting ("first-party"); some are set by other services the page includes ("third-party").
2. Cookies we set ourselves
The Raven Games marketing site is built as static HTML and does not set first-party tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies of its own. Our contact and careers form endpoints do not issue session cookies; rate limiting is performed in-memory by IP.
3. Third-party cookies
- Google Fonts. Pages load typefaces from
fonts.gstatic.com. Google may set cookies on its own domain in connection with font delivery; we do not read them. - Google Maps embed (on /contact only). The embedded Google Maps iframe loaded on our contact page sets Google's own cookies for map functionality, abuse prevention, and preference. Visiting /contact therefore exposes you to Google Maps cookies even if no other page does.
- In our games specifically, ad and analytics SDKs may use device identifiers and similar storage technologies. See section 4 of our Privacy Policy for the SDK list.
4. Cookies table
| Cookie / domain | Purpose | Duration | Party |
|---|---|---|---|
| (none on ravengames.io) | — | — | First-party |
| Google Fonts (fonts.gstatic.com) | Font delivery | Set by Google; see Google's privacy policy | Third-party |
| Google Maps (on /contact) | Map tile delivery, abuse prevention, preference | Session to several months; see Google's privacy policy | Third-party |
This table reflects the site as currently built. If a future change introduces analytics, an embed, or a Consent Management Platform (CMP), this section will be updated.
5. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings:
We do not currently operate a Consent Management Platform (CMP) banner on this site, so browser-level controls are the available mechanism. Blocking third-party cookies will affect Google Maps and Google Fonts but will not break the rest of the site.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no industry consensus on how to respond, and we do not currently take action on DNT specifically. Your browser-level cookie and tracking controls remain effective regardless.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
